Facebook Starts Deals Service

The social networking website Facebook will be rolling out its new deals service that offers best restaurant, spa and other shopping deals in your locality.

The service would initially begin with San Francisco, Atlanta, Dallas, Austin and San Diego. Well, it’s really tough time for Groupon deals service firm, which is also in the same line of business and was often considered by major companies for takeover.

Facebook’s initiative comes just after the launch of Google’s deals service. The Google deals service was launched in few regions including Portland, San Francisco, Oakland and other places. Even Google tried taking over Groupon’s business.

It is not disclosed as to how much money that Facebook would be making in each deal. Since it is Facebook’s deal service, not just credit cards you can also use your Facebook credits for buying deals.
