How to Increase Google Adsense Click Through Rate (CTR)

Click-through rate or CTR is a way of measuring the success of an online advertising campaign. A CTR is obtained by dividing the number of users who clicked on an ad on a web page by the number of times the ad was delivered (impressions). For example, if a banner ad was delivered 100 times (impressions delivered) and one person clicked on it (clicks recorded), then the resulting CTR would be 1 percent.( Source: Wikipedia ). CTR can be as low as 0.05% or it can be more that 20%. Optimizing your site to get higher CTR could help improve your Google AdSense earnings significantly. These are few things that you can do to get higher CTR for your sites.

That was the definition of CTR, Now here are few tips to increase the CTR of Google Adsense, so that you can earn more revenue from this service.

Tip 1: Blend Ad is the easiest way to increase the CTR of Google adsense. Blend ads give a feeling to the visitors that the ads are the part of information and visitors click on those ads.

Tip 2: Adsense placement is another factor that plays in your adsense earning. The placement of the ads should be in such a way that it should be visible to everyone coming to your website or blog. it should be placed on the area where traffic is high.

Tip 3: Traffic is very important to increase the CTR of Google Adsense. More traffic you get, more number of clicks will be generated.

Tip 4: Experiment with your existing adsense placement. Keep on experimenting till you reach to a level, where you can decide which placement is better.

Tip 5: Content is very important. You should have interesting contents on your blog or website. Attractive contents let visitors lost in your blog or website. Quality contents can sure bring higher CTC to your adsense.
